The Development Manager – Loyalty Products is part of the Digital Technology Team. They are responsible for executing to both the roadmap and backlog for the product and enhancing the digital experience. The Development Manager will provide a technical point of view on how to grow and improve the 7-Eleven Loyalty Product and work side-by-side with the Product Manager for Loyalty.
Builds and drives teams, enterprise partners and vendors in delivering innovative digital platforms.
Ensures efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning and tracking sprint progress.
Actively engages in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmaps and architectural strategy.
Models an environment of strong collaboration and partnership with engineers, domain architects, product leaders, stakeholders and partners to drive execution of roadmap, negotiate changes in priorities and manage communication of impacts.
Manages and directs 4 to 6 software developers.
Evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for department and individual staff members; and recruits, disciplines and trains staff.
Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Experience: 5-7, Product Development, product architecture.
Proven track record of executing on the full product life cycle (inception through deprecation) on large scale loyalty systems and programs.
Knowledgeable in the leaders, challengers and innovators in the loyalty technology product space with a keen eye for innovative opportunities between in-house and 3rd Party APIs.
Self-directed with a start-up/entrepreneur mindset and a thirst for learning.
Strong writing and communication skills.
